The nose on this wine has aromas of white peach, caramel and citrus. The full bodied palate has gentle spices with hints of cantaloupe, honeydew melon and vanilla. The minerality is silky and seductive with great balanced acidity.

Johnny Q NV Brut Cuvée

51% Semillon & 49% Chardonnay

Brut Cuvée is a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Semillon. Very refreshing, easy drinking sparkling style wine with generous citrus fruit flavours and a soft, crisp, and clean finish. Fruit was harvested and crushed directly to the press, where only the free run juice was selected. Juice was racked, warmed and fermented using specially selected aromatic yeast, chosen to accentuate the primary fruit characters. The blended wine was allowed to undergo secondary fermentation in tank to obtain the gas efferevescence and yeast complexity then sitting on yeast lees for a further extended period to add creaminess, complexity, and long finish.

This wine is a mid straw green colour, with a fine gas bead and persistent mousse. It has refreshing lemon citrus aromas in harmony with a zesty lift. Generous citrus fruit flavours enhanced with creamy mouth filling characters.
