The Shiraz from Langhorne Creek contributes to the colour and signature blackberry and spice, while the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards from McLaren Vale provide the depth and texture to the wine. Fermentation is in submerged cap and static open fermenters. The wine is aged in French and American oak for 12 months. This is the definitive Southern Australian red wine blend (Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon) from an award-winning winery.

A deep plum to cherry red, this wine has intense youthful and fresh ripe berry fruit flavours with notes of spice. On the palate, it is dense, ripe with round plum, cherry and blackberry flavours balanced with spicy oak and ripe succulent tannins.
