85% Tempranillo & 15% Syrah

Dos Besos is a joint venture between Bodegas Fontana and Whitefish Group. Bodegas Fontana is an authentic family bodega with over thirty years experience in viticulture and winemaking. Their 500 hectares of vineyards extend over the areas of Baja Alcarria and the Mancha Alta of Toledo, Spain.

The grapes were harvested from Bodegas Fontana’s estate vineyards at night when the temperature is low-which ensures optimum grape quality. Dos Besos is a well balanced blend of Tempranillo (85%) and Syrah (15%) displaying a bright ruby red colour. The wine is not oak aged so as to preserve its youthfulness. It exhibits aromas of ripe cherries and red berries. On the palate, this wine shows flavours of red berries, plum, vanilla and leather with firm tannins culminating in a soft, round finish. Dos Besos is best paired with great food, spirited conversation and a stolen kiss or two.
