Nuevo Mundo Wines

The vineyards which produce the Nuevo Mundo wines sit precisely on top of the dry river bed of the River Maipo, providing the ideal soil types for growing grapes. Additionally, the proximity to the coast means that refreshing breezes blow across the vineyard in the afternoon.

The combination of ground conditions and climate give origin to a unique terroir which produces fruit of the highest quality and which also allows for organic grape cultivation.The characteristic dryness during the summer months in Chile and the almost total absence of diseases amongst the plants were fundamental factors which made this development possible and, in the year 1998, we began the transition from traditional to organic agriculture. Three years later, in 2001, we received certification from German company BCS.Produced from organically grown grapes, this product is fully certified as Carbon Neutral.
