Agua de Piedra

Agua de Piedra wines are produced by Mendoza Vineyards SA. The grapes from this region are known for their intense and robust flavours. The wines are definitively Argentinean and capture the essence of the region.

European settlers were fascinated by the beauty of Argentina but stymied by the arid conditions. How did they source water? The only water available was from heating and cooling stones to capture the condensation, hence the name of the wine - Agua de Piedra.

This is a joint venture between Mendoza vineyards and famous flying winemaker Hugh Ryman.
