Dante Robino was born in Canelli, a small town in northwest Italy's Piemonte region. It was there that he learned the art and skill of winemaking from his family. He immigrated to Argentina in 1920 and established a winery in Luján de Cuyo, already considered a top growing area within the Mendoza region.
Since 1982, Dante Robino has been owned and operated by the Squassini family which have brought great investments in winemaking facilities, modern technologies and sustainable farming practices which continue the vision of craftsmanship they inherited from Dante Robino.
The winery bears his name to this day and the wines can be enjoyed around the world.
